Strategy for development and capacity building – BHANSA opens the door to a new generation of air traffic controllers

Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA) has announced a public call for the selection, professional training and employment of candidates for air traffic controllers, thereby opening the door to a new generation of professionals in one of the most responsible and dynamic professions.

The public call has been launched in line with long-term plans for the development and improvement of air navigation services. It is intended for candidates with at least a secondary school qualification, who demonstrate well-developed logical thinking skills, spatial and visual perception, planning abilities, concentration and decision-making under pressure.

The profession of an air traffic controller entails a high level of responsibility, continuous learning, and teamwork, while at the same time offering a stable, internationally recognized, and highly respected professional career.

The selection process includes an assessment of English language proficiency, as well as psychomotor and cognitive testing, conducted in cooperation with EUROCONTROL and in accordance with the highest European standards.

It is particularly significant that the professional training of a new generation of air traffic controllers will, for the first time, be carried out at BHANSA’s own training center, thereby further strengthening domestic capacities and the long-term stability of the air navigation system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The public call will remain open for 30 days from the date of publication.

All interested individuals who seek a professional challenge and aspire to work in a role of key importance for flight safety, while building a professional career in a technologically advanced and organizationally stable environment, are invited to apply.

Detailed information on the application requirements and procedure is available on BHANSA’s official website at  www.bhansa.gov.ba.
