SITTI VCS simulator to Thales in Mexico

THALES and SITTI have been working side by side on many occasions, and their collaboration has been growing in the recent years. As part of this long-standing partnership, and driven by a shared commitment to enabling customers to fully benefit from the complementary strengths of their respective solutions , SITTI will provide THALES with a VCS (Voice Communication System) simulator that will complement the existing simulation equipment installed at the Projects and Services Centre in Mexico City, from where Thales delivers air traffic management solutions  to the entire Latin American region.

The VCS  simulator provided by SITTI is the MULTIFONO® M801IP system whose standard compliant features and excellent performance have already been demonstrated in many other contexts worldwide. This system allows trainees and trainer to interact through radio, telephone and intercom facilities seamlessly simulating a real, live environment. Seven Controller Working Positions (CWPs) are part of the supply together with the MMS Supervision System used for Maintenance and Configuration purposes.

Besides training, the system will also be used for demo sessions, where customers will be able to appreciate the advanced features of the VCS system manufactured by SITTI, together with THALES air traffic management functions in an integrated manner.

THALES and SITTI share a unified vision for the future of air traffic control and management. The seamless integration of their technologies reflects a shared commitment to delivering future-proof, cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and elevate flight safety for customers worldwide.
