As part of the Communication Infrastructure modernisation on its way to respond to the increasing need for datalink capacity, the FCDI project is developing the Hyper Connected ATM (HCATM) technology.
HCATM, to be called HYCON for Hybrid Communication Network, enables the combined use of public air-ground links and networks and legacy safety links, whilst meeting the required safety, security, and performance standards for safety-related air-ground communications.
The main objective of this webinar is to provide an overview of the high-level principles of HYCON and details on HYCON functions, including on Cyber Security. The webinar will also share information about the progress made on standardisation and the related validation exercises.
