Ronald Dubbeldam CIO of LVNL

Ronald Dubbeldam started as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL) on 15 March 2026. The appointment is for a four-year term, after which he may be reappointed once for a maximum additional period of four years.

Over the past twenty years, Dubbeldam has held various management positions within the technical domain of LVNL, including Manager Air Traffic Management Systems, Manager Communication Navigation and Systems, and General Manager Systems & Infrastructure.  

As CIO, he will lead crucial technological projects, including the transition from the current AAA air traffic control system to iCAS. He will also oversee the modernisation of infrastructure and systems, in line with the ambitions of Single European Sky. 

Experience and knowledge of LVNL 

Stability and innovation hand in hand

The CIO works closely with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Joost Meijs and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Marlou Banning on the board. Chief Operational Officer (COO) Mark van Knippenberg is also part of the management team. Ronald Dubbeldam’s appointment is for a period of four years and may be extended on the recommendation of the supervisory board.
