Bilateral talks were held between the civil aviation authorities of the State of Qatar and Dominica, on the sidelines of the ICAO Facilitation Conference.
The talks concluded with the initialling of an Air Services Agreement and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), allowing designated carriers from both countries to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights, with full traffic rights.
The signing of this MoU represents a significant and positive step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation. It supports both countries’ shared vision for the development and enhancement of air transport services and reflects their ongoing commitment to improving connectivity.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Mohamed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, In Charge of Managing QCAA, and Her Excellency Mrs. Denise Charles, Minister of Tourism and Air Transport.
Following the signing, both sides discussed a range of civil aviation matters of mutual interest, exploring ways to further develop and enhance cooperation to serve the interests of both nations.
