NATS and Bayanat Engineering sign strategic agreement to advance Air Traffic Solutions across the Middle East and Africa

NATS Services signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi-headquartered Bayanat Engineering at the Dubai Airshow 2025.

According to ANPS NATS, this strategic agreement marks a significant step forward in strengthening regional collaboration and delivering innovative air traffic management solutions across the Middle East and Africa.

The partnership will enable both organisations to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions to customers across the region, combining NATS’ operational excellence and international best practice with Bayanat Engineering’s market knowledge, systems integration capabilities, and established relationships with regional stakeholders.

The partnership is positioned to address the growing demand for advanced air traffic management solutions, digital tower technology, and airspace modernisation as the region continues its rapid expansion.

The organisations will focus on innovative technologies designed to enhance operational resilience such as NATS’ Intelligent Approach. The industry’s only true time-based spacing tool, Intelligent Approach has proven to deliver optimised runway capacity, improved on-time performance and reduced CO₂ emissions for airports around the world.

The partnership will combine NATS’ international best practice with Bayanat’s regional market knowledge.
