Intersoft Electronics Group Establishes Indian Footprint

New Bengaluru-based entity to bring the Group’s RF test, certification and radar systems directly to India’s aviation and defence markets

Intersoft Electronics Group today announced the establishment of Intersoft Electronics India, a subsidiary headquartered in Bengaluru. Set up under the Intersoft Electronics APAC structure, it follows the opening of the group’s Korean branch earlier this year and represents another significant in-country investment in the Asia-Pacific region.

The group has supported Indian civil and military customers for several years — among them the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Indian Air Force and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Where Intersoft Electronics’ products and services have reached India through export and local partners, the group will now deliver them directly — with local employees, engineering and support based in the country. It is a deliberate move from being a supplier to India to a partner in India.

The trends in India align with the group’s capabilities, with Intersoft Electronics India supporting:

  • A fast-growing civil and defense aviation sector is driving demand for CNS systems, addressed with ICAO, EUROCONTROL, and Military-standard compliant solutions like RASS®, SkyRF® and SMS.
  • Strong defense investment and a large installed radar base create demand for radar test expertise, upgrades and scalable technologies such as ASR-M®, NORA and NGSP®, delivered in partnership with local industry.
