Gremsy and Nokia Partner to Deliver integrated payload solutions for Nokia Drone Networks

Gremsy, a global leader in high-performance gimbal and payload systems, today
announced a strategic global technology partnership with Nokia to deliver fully integrated VIO and ORUS L payloads for Nokia Drone Networks, Nokia’s turnkey 4G/5G-connected drone-in-a-box solution designed for industrial and public safety use cases.

The collaboration brings together Gremsy’s precision-engineered imaging systems and Nokia Drone Networks to offer a high-performance aerial platform tailored to the needs of infrastructure inspection, industrial surveillance, tactical response, and DFR (Drones as a First Responder) deployments.

Gremsy’s *VIO and *ORUS-L payloads will be supported by Nokia Drone Networks,
delivering high-quality imaging, AI-powered features, and operational flexibility for
autonomous drone-in-a-box deployments. Both payloads offer advanced EO/IR
capabilities, real-time video streaming, and reliable mission performance over secure 4G/5G networks. Available in the second half of 2025, the integration supports a range of use cases including inspection, mapping, and public safety, with further joint drone and payload development planned.

First international showcases and demonstrations have already started in early 2025, highlighting the combined system’s readiness for operations. The offering supports mission-critical use cases including infrastructure inspection, industrial surveillance, tactical response, and DFR (Drones as a First Responder).
