FTEJerez Trains 108 Students Across 10 Air Traffic Control Courses

FTEJerez continues to expand its Air Traffic Control training activity, with 108 students undertaking training across 10 ATC courses during the second semester of 2026.

Training is being delivered across FTE’s three ATC training locations in Jerez, Madrid and Barcelona, covering a range of programmes for both Spanish and international customers.

The latest milestone will come on 13 October, when three new ATC Full Rating courses commence simultaneously in Jerez, Madrid and Barcelona. A total of 48 students will join these programmes, the majority training on behalf of ENAIRE alongside a number of self-sponsored students.

These follow three Full Rating courses which commenced on 20 July across the same three locations, as well as an Integrated ATC course which began in Jerez on 24 August, with a combined intake of over 40 students.

FTEJerez has also continued to expand its training for international customers during this period. On 5 October, members of the Royal Netherlands Air Force will commence an Aerodrome Control course in Jerez, while in November FTEJerez will welcome air traffic controllers from Latvia’s air navigation service provider, LGS, for specialised training in military operations familiarisation.

A further Integrated ATC course is also scheduled to commence in Jerez on 4 November.

Altogether, these programmes represent 108 students across 10 courses, highlighting the scale and diversity of FTE’s ATC training activity and its capability to deliver multiple programmes simultaneously across its training locations in Spain, for both corporate customers and individual students.
