Commercial UAV Forum has announced the launch of its European Commercial UAV Industry Survey, designed to gather first hand insights from commercial drone pilots and operators across Europe. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the realities of UAV operations today, including the biggest challenges pilots face, where they are finding the most value, how emerging tools are changing workflows, and what they expect from industry events and publications.
The results of the survey will be compiled into a comprehensive report, which will be made available to the public at a later date as a free download at Commercial UAV News. The report will provide valuable data to support business decisions, regulatory discussions, and technology development across the sector.
“We’re asking drone pilots and operators across Europe to share the good and the bad of their real-world experiences in the industry,” said Matt Collins, Content Manager for Commercial UAV Forum. “By collecting perspectives directly from those flying and managing operations, we can help the entire ecosystem better understand what’sneeded to move the industry forward.”
In addition to helping shape an upcoming report and overall coverage of the industry, one survey respondent will be randomly selected to receive a free pass to the upcoming Commercial UAV Forum, being held 22-23 April 2026 at the RAI in
Amsterdam, the Netherlands where leaders from across the European drone ecosystem will gather to discuss trends, best practices, and real-world case studies.
The survey is open to all professionals involved in drone operations, including pilots, service providers, enterprise program managers, and technology developers.
