Be a Voice in the UAV Industry at Commercial UAV Expo

Elevate your influence by becoming a featured speaker at the Commercial UAV Expo, the leading global event for professionals involved in the integration and operation of commercial UAS. We invite industry leaders, innovators, and experts to share their valuable insights and expertise, helping shape the future of this dynamic field. We invite you to be a part of Commercial UAV Expo, taking place September 1-3, 2026, and contribute to the advancement of commercial UAS technology and applications.

Key Theme: Actionable Insights

This year, we’re putting our focus into the tangible impact of drone applications today and how professionals can carry those insights into their businesses and careers. Our focus is on practical, real-world uses that drive efficiency, safety, and effectiveness. We’re placing particular emphasis on Energy & Utilities, Construction, Agriculture, and Infrastructure & Transportation, acknowledging the transformative role of UAS technology in these sectors, though encourage submissions from other industries as well. Expanding beyond specific industries, it will be crucial to keep in mind cross-industry and broader themes such as regulations, tech innovations, security, data, autonomy, and more. Critically, all of these topics should be explored in a way in which attendees can walk away from the session with insights and takeaways that can be applied toward building up their individual business and/or careers.

What Sectors Will be Represented?

While we place particular emphasis on Energy & Utilities, Construction, Infrastructure & Transportation, and Agriculture sectors, we welcome individuals to submit innovative uses of this technology that showcase solutions for end users and operators in the commercial UAS space. Whether you are a stakeholder, end-user, OEM, project manager, or drone pilot, we invite you to share your ideas through our call for speakers.

Session Formats:

To ensure dynamic and robust education that meets the needs of a diverse audience of UAS professionals, we’re planning to have a variety of formats: panel discussions, series of presentations, roundtable discussions, and workshops. While you may request a preferred format during submission, flexibility may be required based on your expertise and program requirements. See below for a guide of session formats:

  • Panel Discussions where thought leaders facilitate and participate in high-level and insightful discussions with people from across the industry. We are seeking speakers who are looking to engage in conversations that ask the difficult questions, dig into challenges that the industry faces, and provide their perspectives on the best solutions for those challenges and a vision of the future of the industry. This format would include a moderator and 3-5 panelists.
  • Roundtable Discussions provide an opportunity for attendees to sit down with industry leaders and ask questions and have a conversation about their current challenges in their sector, share ideas, and connect with peers who are facing similar challenges or are in the same sector. This format is ideal for tackling issues that the UAS sector is facing where there might not be a clear solution yet. Roundtable Discussions include multiple conversation leaders who will facilitate discussions in smaller groups with the attendees.
  • Presentations are the best opportunity to share a unique case study or special project. This format is best suited to those who have a highly technical project that they’d like to share. This provides the opportunity to visually showcase the project and explain its potential in bettering the industry as a whole. Presentations are generally allotted 10 – 15 minutes each, with exact timing determined by event management.
  • Workshops are a great opportunity to teach attendees how to use a new tool or to develop a new skill. This is a structured and interactive session format. Workshop instructors may teach attendees how to use their company’s software, prepare for a certification, or teach them a new concept within the industry. This is a classroom format where there are one or two workshop instructors who facilitate the session to attendees.

Review Criteria:

Commercial UAV Expo is known for delivering practical, actionable information to professionals integrating and operating commercial UAS, including preparing for future developments. To this end, we are seeking submissions with these key attributes:

  • Relevance: Address practical and current issues in the UAS industry.
  • Actionable Insights: Share tangible, implementable strategies and solutions.
  • Industry Impact: Emphasize how your topic contributes to real-world results.
  • Innovation: Highlight novel approaches and advancements in UAS technology.
  • Case Studies: Provide real-world examples demonstrating practical applications, including complex use cases.
  • Engagement: Propose interactive elements that enhance participant learning.
  • Audience Alignment: Tailor content to meet the varied needs of UAS practitioners.
  • Future Outlook: Offer insights into upcoming trends and developments in the field.
  • Collaboration Potential: Demonstrate potential for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Please note: Product pitches will not be considered for the main program. Submissions should offer practical information and substantive insights. Session format confirmed by event management.

Submission Guidelines

Complete the submission form by February 20, 2026. Event Management and Advisory/Committee members will carefully review each submission.

Submissions must be original and not repeat presentations given at another conference. Marketing- and sales-focused presentations will not be considered for the main program. Most presentations will be allotted 10-15 minutes based on session format. Session format will be confirmed by event management.

Submissions do not guarantee acceptance on the agenda. Preference will be given to asset owner presenters (the end users of the data). Vendors are encouraged to nominate asset owner customers to present or co-present. Product presentations will not be selected for the main program but are available to exhibiting companies in the Exhibitor Showcase section of pre-conference programming.

If you are a dynamic, impactful, and knowledgeable expert and can speak to a topic based on the Submissions and Review Criteria, we invite you to submit a proposal to be part of the Conference Program for the Commercial UAV Expo, taking place September 1-3, 2026, in Las Vegas.
