3 days left to enter Seamless Skies Awards

The final countdown is here, with only three days left to enter the Seamless Skies Awards. Please ensure you’ve submitted your entries by Friday, 13 March midnight in your time zone. There will be no additional extensions. The judges need time to do their evaluations and the entry window needs to close by the end of this week.

Categories explained

There are six categories to choose from covering key topics in our industry. If you have any questions about which one your entry would fit in, please feel free to reach out to us at awards@globalairspaceradar.com If you’re still considering which category your entry should go in, here’s a helpful hint – many companies pick innovation as an easy selection, but the outcome of this is that this category is very busy. It’s important to really consider where your entry is adding value and if it’s true innovation or more towards one of the other topics.

Collaborative operations for sustainable skies – Successful partnerships between ANSPs, industry, aircraft operators, research organisations, and others to deliver new levels of airspace management performance – improving safety, reducing delays and environmental impact while delivering a more cost-effective operational outcome.

Innovation to enable safer, more efficient operations – Celebrating projects that explore the latest innovations demonstrating how cutting-edge technologies such as digitisation, virtualisation, and artificial intelligence can enhance performance, efficiency, safety, sustainability, and capacity in airspace operations.

Building the lower airspace economy – Acknowledging the work that has been done to prepare lower airspace for safe and efficient new entrant operations (drones, eVTOLs, and personal flying vehicles), including integration with current ATM systems and procedures.

Remarkable people & workforce – Celebrating the contribution that individuals, teams or company programmes have made to the airspace management industry – which could be ensuring the continuance of operations during crises or delivering an improved performance to customers.

Safety, security & resilience – Acknowledging projects which support resilience to disruptions and unforeseen events and maximise operational performance ensuring that both safety and service continuity in extreme circumstances is possible.

Seamless Skies for All – A project or organisation which has delivered a measurable improvement to the optimisation of airspace management performance, supporting airspace users to meet their business and operational goals.

The shortlisted finalists will be announced during the month of April and winners/runner-ups will be announced at Airspace World 2026 during a celebration on the first day of the event. This is the only truly global event that brings the worlds of crewed and uncrewed aviation together to decide an equitable and progressive global airspace.
