Marita Lintener

I am passionate about connecting the dots between the various developments in our industry and beyond.

Prior to founding Lintener European Aviation Consultancy in 2004 she began her career with Lufthansa and Thomas Cook. During the last 20 years she provided consulting services to multiple stakeholders within the aviation industry including projects for the European Commission, European Space Agency, European Defence Agency, Eurocontrol and in the context of the European Single European Sky programme SESAR. She has been part of the founding team of the SESAR Deployment Manager, subsequently SDM Airspace User Liaison and Senior International Relations Officer. Most recently, Marita has been Head of International Affairs for Skyguide 2021-2023.

Marita served as the European Co-Chair of the US-EU Deployment Coordination Committee under the EU-US Memorandum of Cooperation on air traffic management research and deployment, Chair of the A4 Airlines Strategy Group and acting as A4 interface to the European Commission from 2014-2019. Currently she is Member of the Board, President-elect and acting VP Asia-Pacific for the International Aerospace Womens Association (IAWA).

She was honoured by the EU Commissioner for Transport as an early EU transport diversity ambassador in September 2019 and is a member of the EU Platform for Change – Women in Transport of the European Commission DG MOVE.

Marita splits her time between Germany and Australia. She loves sports and nature.
